What happened to the good old days when the breaks were uncrowded and we let the sailfish go? When there were no Southerlies blowing for months on end? We did surf a lot by ourselves even though all the reefs were out of the water. Fidel was up to his usual tricks. 8 hours a day and no sleep. His son, Rory powered on while the Jacksonville mafia gave him heaps for being a grommet and riding a lid, even though the 14 yearold was taking on the biggest waves of anyone. Meanwhile Sue pounded the beach in her unending quest to find that lost hermit crab. Chucky and Jason went toe to toe in a classic surf battle of backside and frontside surfing. While Bryce wanted the fish that the boys scored and Brooks pulled into anything relishing the fact that he was along way from New York.. Mike found his surf legs as did Paul after day 5. And the brothers shared some tune time, tube time and reef time together.
Bloody Boo-ya Boys!
